Arkki is a non-profit organization based in Helsinki, Finland. They are specialized in providing architectural and environmental education to children as an after school activity for the last 20 years.
They offer a number of summer camps such as: model building camps, design camps, art camps, animation camps, dream house (3D planning), family camps and more. Prices per child are around 200€ for a 5 days camp, including material and meal.
This year is their 20th anniversary and they are organizing an International Conference on Architecture education for Children and Youth called “Creating the Future 2.0” in 8-9th May 2014. The main objective of the conference is to provide an international platform to discuss the present and the future of architecture education to young people.
