The group will be visiting Faculté d’Architecture La Cambre-Horta, Université Libre de Bruxelles in November 2013.
Background on the Faculty
The Faculty of Architecture La Cambre-Horta is part of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, part of the UNICA network of European universities. The Faculty of Architecture is the result of the merger of two institutes, each with a long and rich experience of education. The new faculty holds that architecture is an art of public and social reason, to meet the arts and sciences, reality and imagination, rigour and feeling, poetry and art, traditions and innovations.
Our role in this project will be to take part in all the seminars and blog discussions with our senior staff, trainers and learners. We will host one partner seminar, the fourth seminar which will consider vocational education links with universities across the member states. The university has a history of welcoming students from across Europe (and further afield) and are proud of being a multi-cultural institute. Our Faculty is committed to enriching the experience of students and the community.
